Spark My Marketing

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Culture Craft Labs, doing business as Spark My Marketing (“we”, “us”), runs the Writing for Connection email course and this website, sparkmymarketing.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are based in British Columbia, Canada, and we handle your information in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other Canadian privacy law that applies to us.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

We do not sell your personal information.

3. The AI writing coach

Part of the course is a responsive AI writing coach. When you reply to a course email, your profile answers and what you wrote are processed by AI technology so the coach can give you feedback. The coach is set up to give feedback and questions, not to write for you. We use AI service providers to do this, and we ask that you avoid including sensitive personal information in your replies.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the course, and only as needed for that purpose. Right now these are:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, your information may be transferred to the new owner, who must follow this policy.

5. Cookies and analytics

When you first visit the site you can accept or decline cookies. We use Google Tag Manager, which stays off for analytics and advertising unless you accept. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same either way.

6. Email and your consent

We send you emails because you asked for them and agreed when you signed up. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us. We will stop sending you marketing emails promptly. Every email we send identifies us and includes how to contact us, as Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) requires.

7. Where your information is stored

Our service providers may store and process information on servers outside British Columbia and outside Canada, including in the United States and Europe. Your information may therefore be subject to the laws of those places, including laws that allow courts and authorities to access it. We choose providers carefully and expect them to protect your information. If you have questions about our providers, contact us.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you are subscribed and as long as we need it for the purposes above. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it unless we need to keep some of it to meet a legal obligation or to keep a record that you opted out, so we do not email you again by mistake.

9. Keeping it safe

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including limiting who can access it and relying on providers that use secure connections. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

Email hello@sparkmymarketing.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the course.

11. Children

Writing for Connection is for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date, and we will tell subscribers by email if the changes are significant.
